This school cleaning case study highlights the services we offered to Netley Street School.
Netley Campus is an inclusive school, exuding a warmth and generosity of spirit that comes from the happy children and diverse school community.
Netley Street School opened its doors to children in 1883 and all through its’ history the school has worked hard to improve the achievements of its pupils. In 1971 a brand-new building was opened to provide early years provision, and in early 2000, Camden identified a growing need to offer specialist support for children with Autism. The first purpose-built resource base for children was opened four years later.
The school is now within Netley Campus, a state of-the-art learning environment for children and adults. There are 450 children, including Woodlands – an outstanding centre for 24 children with Autism. In 2014 OFSTED judged both Netley and Woodlands as ‘Good’ in all categories.

In February 2018, after a lengthy tender process we were awarded this contract through Camden Council. It was a smooth handover but the TUPE transfer presented some issues that we were able to resolve through a rigorous consultation process.
Working within an SEN school was new territory and brought new challenges such as specialist cleaning. We worked in close partnership with the team at Netley to understand these challenges and ensuring they were covered as part of staff inductions and on-going training. Numerous changes to the daily schedules were required to maximise the efficiency of the operation and the client was supportive of all adjustments that were made. Netley is now benefitting from these changes and a cleaner environment is in place for all pupils, staff and visitors.
We look forward to continuing to work with Netley for the foreseeable future, providing innovative solutions for the benefit of all involved.
